The Feast of Holy Cross by Tim and Terence

On the last day of term three we celebrated The Feast of Holy Cross. After Mass we had a sausage sizzle and there was a long line of kindergarten to year six children waiting to get theirs. Then we had a talent quest. There were many different acts like comedy, singing, dancing and a human puppet act.At the beginning we had a person playing a violin then we had the other acts come in. Some acts required some volunteers. Our favourite act of the day was the human puppet act. It was very humorous and a bit weird but we all liked it. If we had to rank it we would give it a ten out of ten.

When Deborah Abela Visited by Tegan and Therese

When Deborah Abela came to Holy Cross in August 2006 for Book Week, we were all very excited. She spoke to us about her books, The Max Remy series and The Jasper Zammit series.
She also told us about her time on Cheese T.V. She was funny and all of our grade enjoyed it when we had a session with her.
She showed us some video clips that she had from Cheese T.V and she told us about some of the books in the Max Remy series including:
In Search of the Time and Space Machine, Spyforce Revealed and Mission in Malta. These books are the 1st , 2nd and 8th in the Max Remy series. Having Deborah visit us was a very EXCELLENT experience.

Mrs Boatfield's Party by Emily and Victoria.

In term 2 we had a going away party for Mrs Boatfield, because she was having a baby .
We all had to bring some lollies, gifts if we wanted to and one of the girls mother"s made a cake for Mrs Boatfield that said "We will miss you". The cake had chocolate with strawberries with a edible rose HMMMMMM!!!!!! YUMMY WE'RE IN LOVE WITH CAKE.
The classroom was decorated and when Mrs Boatfield came we said "SURPRISE!!!!!" then we went outside to eat the food. We went inside and played some music, then some people gave her presents for the baby and her. After that she said good bye and she promised to visit us soon.
